WordPress released their first maintenance release of v2.7, now v.2.7.1

The release contains fixes for 68 tickets. This release can be upgraded automatically (Tools->Upgrade menu) or downloaded and perform upgrade manually if you wish to do so.

If you choose the Automatic method, make sure you have a folder called upgrade within your wp-content folder that has public ‘write’ permissions.

As with any WP upgrade or patch install, you will want to make sure you have proper backups your existing WP site, all web folders and MySQL database(s).
